Some technologies are so good that it is hard to improve them. Side channel blowers from Elmo Rietschle are such an example.  They have proven their reliability in service for many decades, performing flawlessly day in and day out with virtually no down time.  Noise levels have been lower than that of most other vacuum pumps and compressors.

Our side channel blowers are available in a wide selection for performance ranges up to 3,000 m3/h and differential pressures of up to 1,000 mbar. They cover the most varied requirements flexibly and powerfully.

The G-Series side channel blowers feature voltage range motors for 50 and 60 Hz in protection class IP 55 (Insulation class F) and are UL 507 and CSA 22.2 No. 113 approved. This makes them the ideal solution for worldwide use:  They can be used without modifications or tests in Europe, Asia and America.  They are mostly available ex stock and with ATEX certification.

Dry Running Rotary Vane vacuum pumps, compressors and pressure-vacuum pumps

Compact V-VTE vacuum pumps and V-DTE compressors and each available in four sizes. Low noise and reliability make this series an ideal choice for many OEM applications.

This range of medium size dry pumps are available in vacuum (V-VLT), pressure (V-DLT) and combination models (V-KLT).  Design features of these include maximised cooling air pathways, heat resistant materials, sound reduction covers and relief valves.

The next largest group of dry rotary vane pumps also offers all operation types – vacuum (V-VTA), pressure (V-DTA) and combination models (V-KTA). Developed as continuous duty pumps for printing and pater handling machines, this series is now used widely in many industrial applications.

A new range of rotary vane pumps is available as vacuum (V-VTR), compressor (V-DTR) and as combined pressure-vacuum version (V-KTR). The benefits of the new range are visible at a glance: maintenance and control panel are placed on one side only for easy access to filters and valves.  Additional features include heat reduction through large cooling air pathways and vents.  Design features such as the solid ribs, optimised cooling air circulation, thermal separation of suction and compression chambers within the filter housing, as well as a minimum number of connected heat transferring parts reduce machine temperatures.

C-Series – ClawELMO RIETSCHLE C SERIES CLAW FROM HARRIERElmo Rietschle Claw Pump from Harrier

The high efficiency, dry and contact-free compression claw vacuum pump range offers capacities ranging from 60 to 1140 m³/hr (35.3 to 671 cfm). The maximum ultimate vacuum at continuous operation is up to 50 mbar (abs). Low maintenance, integrated air cooling without additional cooling medium, suitable for multiple applications.

Flange mounted motors comply with DIN EN 60034, have IP 55 protection and insulation class F. Internal compression allows for low end pressure while using low power motors. At the same time the performance curve remains steady over its entire range. The C-VLR can be fitted with a frequency converter so that capacity and vacuum can be adjusted exactly to the requirements of the customer. Closed loop operation with inlet and outlet connected to the process is possible.

The dry running, contact-free S Series screw vacuum pump range has capacities ranging from 105 to 720 Elmo Rietschle VSI Screw Pump m³/hr (61.8 to 423.5 cfm), end vacuum 0.05 mbar (abs.). Easy to service.  Available with a range of different coatings that offer enhanced corrosion resistance.   Especially suitable for solvent recovery and drying processes.

L-BL2 UnitsElmo Rietschle Liquid Ring Pump from Harrier Pneumatics

L-BL2 Units  –  known as the Elmo Rietschle’s “Pump in a Box”, these portable units are oil free and air cooled. They include an L-BV liquid ring pump, industrial electric motor, discharge separator, seal water cooler and discharge air cooler.  Simple to install, you simply connect the suction line and motor and fill the water tank and its ready to go!

Maintenance and wear are minimal thanks to contact free compression and a built-in discharge air cooler. Additional features include: quiet operation, continuous duty design and suitability for humid environments.

L-BL2 Frame mounted units combine L-BL2 liquid ring pumps and side channel blowers G-BH1 (or vacuum pumps using another operating principle) mounted on a frame. The blower can operate either at a fixed rational speed or at variable speed using a frequency converter.  This increases the pump’s performance.

This range of compact rotary lobe blowers belong to the group of dry running positive displacement pumps. This means that there is no need for oil or grease in the compression chamber. Only THE gear box and bearings, which are BOTH separated from the pumping chamber, are oil lubricated. Two non-contacting triple lobed rotors rotate against each other in the compression chamber.
